Warranties:

Factory Authorized Service Center and Distributor:

As a Factory Authorized Service Center and Distributor Locking Systems International, Inc. can take back directly any defective lock, repair or exchange that lock and return it directly to you.  You will not have to deal with the manufacturer.  We are a Service Center and Distributor for the following Manufacturers: Cobra Lock, Abloy Lock, Medeco Lock, Master Lock, KeyBak.

We can honor the manufacturer’s warranty according to their terms and conditions of their warranty.

Limited Warranty:

Locking Systems International, Inc. for any product it sells, expressly limits its liabilities to any guarantees extended by the manufacturer, those guarantees, Locking Systems International, Inc. will pass through to the buyer.  These warranties are in lieu of all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or other warranties, expressed or implied.  Locking Systems International, Inc. at its option will either replace goods sold or repair the defective product or part.

Limitation of Liability:

Locking Systems International, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, whether direct, incidental or consequential arising out of the use of or the inability to use any part, lock or hardware product sold by Locking Systems International, Inc.  The remedies of the buyer as set forth herein are exclusive, and the liability of Locking Systems International, Inc. with respect to the sale, or anything done in connection therewith, whether in contact, in tort, under warranty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the price of the part, lock or hardware product.  Any statement about the parts, service or locks, other than those contained herein, do not constitute warranties and shall have no force or effect unless contained in a written agreement by an officer of Locking Systems International, Inc.

Artwork is for recognition only; it does not represent any specific item, lock or color.  All trademarks used in this catalog are the registered trademarks of their respective companies or corporations.

Below is an outline of the warranties of those manufacturers whose products we sell, it is only an outline and does not bind the manufacturer.  Please go to each manufacturer’s web site to find their latest warranties.  We will provide those links for your convenience.

Cobra Locks

Locking Systems International, Inc. (“LSI”) warrants to the original purchaser of a Locking Systems

branded lock, (Cobra Lock), lock cylinder, padlock, or other locking device manufactured by Locking

Systems International, Inc. (referred to collectively as “Product”) to be free of defects in material and/or

workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase for use .  For additional information go to www.lockingsystems.comor call 800.657.LOCK (5625).

Medeco Locks:

Medeco® warrants to the original purchaser of a Medeco® branded lock, lock cylinder, or electromechanical door hardware product (referred to collectively as “Product”) to be free of defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase for use.  This Warranty may also apply to other specific products.  For additional Warranty information go to www.medeco.com.

Medeco® warrants that Maxum deadbolt products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.  This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper installation, lack of or improper maintenance, ordinary wear and tear, misuse, abuse, or accident.

ARROW LOCK® warrants that its products sold under the “ARROW LOCK” trade name in the United States of America are free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service.

This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper installation, lack of or improper maintenance, improper storage, shipping and handling, corrosion, erosion, ordinary wear and tear, misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized service, or use with unauthorized non-ARROW LOCK products or parts.  This warranty is void if any modification is made to the warranty product, regardless of whether the modification causes or contributes to the alleged defect.   All modifications are made at the risk of the party making the modification.  The only liability of ARROW LOCK®, in tort or contract whether under this warranty or otherwise, shall be limited to the repair or replacement of any product or component part which shall prove defective as covered by this warranty, within the stated time period listed below, after delivery to the original purchaser.

• AM & BM Series Mortise Locks – 5 years

• Q, W, & ML Series Cylindrical Locks – 3 years

• GL Series Cylindrical Locks – 5 years

• Revolution V Series – 3 years mechanical, 1 year electronic

• 1150 & 1250 Series Exit Devices – 3 years

• 3000 & 4000 Series Exit Devices – 5 years

• Door Closers – 10 years

• CK & CL Series Tubular Locks – 5 years

• RK & RL Series Cylindrical Locks – 5 years

• 500 & 600 Series Exit Devices – 5 years

• All other ARROW LOCK products – 1 year

Abloy Locks:

ABLOY Security, Inc. (ABLOY) warrants original ABLOY manufactured Products for a period of two (2) years from date of original purchase.

If a Product fails to function due to defects in material or workmanship, ABLOY will, at its option, repair or replace the Product.  The warranty does not include repair or replacement necessitated due to damage caused by use of a non-ABLOY key, damage by physical attack, modifications to the Product, improper maintenance, or misuse of the Product in unintended application.  This warranty also does not cover normal key wear. Any repair or replacement outside the scope of this warranty shall be at ABLOY’s rates and terms then in effect.  For additional information go to www.abloy-usa.com.

Lifetime Service Policy

Your KEY¬‐BAK Key Reel is a precision device: it is designed for years of trouble free use.  As with any other precision tool, protect it from prolonged exposure to moisture and physical shock.  Inspect your KEY‐BAK Key Reel daily before use for signs of excessive wear, and should it require service.  For additional Information go to www.keybak.com.

Master Lock Company Lifetime Warranty

If a product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship at any time during the life of the product, Master Lock will replace it free of charge.  Damage from misuse, abuse, or normal wear & tear are not covered.  Replacement information and complete warranty information are available at www.masterlock.com.
